The scroll position plugin is used to measure how far users are scrolling down a web page. The measurement of scrolling behavior is a significant performance indicator, especially for content pages.
An action request is fired the moment a user leaves the page by clicking a link, for example. The information is transmitted to the maximum percentage of scrolling. Optionally, you can also transfer the page height, so that the scrolling depth in pixels can be determined with the help of a separate formula.
In Webtrekk Analytics, you see the page name on which the scroll position was entered. For each page call, the maximum percentage of the page viewed is displayed.
This documentation describes the configuration and activation of the scroll position plugin. You can find information on the analysis of the scrolling depth here .
